You are not a person yet. You are a data point in an overwhelmingly large file.

Keywords are what the eyes of the machine will see.

Someone who may have no knowledge of the job, the industry or even the company will be looking at the machine results.

Finally someone with some knowledge of the job and the company will be visually scanning the 15 or 20 "round one" candidates.

Here's where, if you've gotten this far and you're right for the job, the person it matters most to will see and hopfully want to talk to you.

You may get a call or an email from Human Resources telling you that they would like to set up an initial phone screen or an interview.
